Our furbabies include:
Well, I don't have pictures of all of our babies here yet but that'll come as soon as I can get it done! In the meantime, you can click on the picture of Goosie, Butter and me to look at the entire gallery or you can proceed on this page to read about our current babies.

Ranger
Ranger is my baby for sure! He's a wonderful German Shepherd mix, sweet and loving and always ready to please... yet he has an independent streak As you can tell from this picture, he's less than thrilled about wearing the hat and having his picture taken with it on! This hat is simply sooo undignified.
Ranger is quite dignified... but he's also my big cuddlebug who ALWAYS thinks he's the boss! He IS the big dog after all!
Here's my tough baby pup! This was at mom & dad's... maybe before we had him!
Ranger and Alyssa love to play in the snow! It's a novelty item for them so they REALLY enjoy it!
Alyssa
This is my Alyssa — a sweet Dalmation, loving and full of energy. Independent also, you can tell from this photo that, despite my glee, she's less than thrilled about the bow on the head. She's another sweetheart and an absolute cuddlebug!!
She's famous you know! Yes. It's true.
She was featuring on one of 5 holiday postcards from a major worldwide
corporation in this picture — W00T!

Alyssa and PiPi taking a little nap!
This is Alyssa & me cuddling hard in our favorite work chair! Or maybe she's just saying... SAVE ME FROM THE CRAZY MAMA!
Buttercup
Buttercup, the youngest of the group, is a great dane mix. She's not as big as a full-blood GD (only 90 lbs.) so we call her our mini- or medium dane! She is another sweetheart of a baby and full of energy. If she had her way, she'd be outside running most all the time!
She learns very quickly, however, that does not mean that she'll be doing what you want her to do. She has her own agenda.
However, she's very people-oriented,
wanting to always be touching you — even if it's just with her paws or
toes! We suspect that if she could really have her way, she'd be in our
laps all the time. Definitely a cuddlebug deluxe!
PiPi (T.C.)
PiPi is a beautiful mix of Maine Coon & Lord only knows what else, this kitten is generally cantankerous and ornery. He has a multitude of names from PiPi, Emporer Fang Pi Po, T.C. (stands for: Too Cute, Terrific C/Kitty, Terribly Confused), IttyBittyKitty from the BigBigCity to OmaKittenPi. His true nature is that of a "hatcat" and he can be extremely sweet too! Amazingly, he's actually gotten sweeter in his old age!
A most favored resting spot. Not sure why he likes it so much but he's always seemed to...
Goosie
Goosie, our oldest (old as dirt is what we call him! a.k.a. "Zetta Man"), started out as a baby kitten hopping around and climbing the cage walls at the pound.
Early on, he had a dog bite his head. The dog was a very good-natured one but Goosie was getting in his food and the dog had bitten Goosie's head before he even knew what he was doing. On bad days, Gonzo walks with a bit of a head-tilt and is generally like a stroke patient. But, everything turned out okay anyway.
So, he's older now but his crazy personality really hasn't changed a bit! He still tries to get in the dog food and generally has no fear. Thankfully, the dogs are very patient with him. And as you can tell, he's not particular about dogs or cats but is very sociable — he LOVES to be close to others — whether it's people, cats OR dogs!
Continue on to meet some of our babies who are no longer with us.
{mospagebreak}
We've had many babies over the years - all of the furry variety!
SammieJo
There's SammieJo - a fantastic German Shepherd. She started out as my brother's dog. After Sammie had pups, she got a little testy. When my brother and his wife had a baby, she got a little weird. Anyway, we became her last home. She wasn't with us a long time — not nearly long enough — but she was a sweetheart and won a solid place in our hearts.
Maya
There was Maya — a wonderful Weimeraner and exceedingly intelligent. She wasn't with us nearly long enough either but she was another sweetie. The breed is known as "The Gray Ghost" and remains one of my most favorite breeds!
Barney
Barney was a little ragamuffin pup! He was a Peek-a-Poo or some derivative — a ragbag dog! He was so funny with his high levels of energy!
Then there were our Shelties:
Conelley
Conelley (Conlee) was a runaway who found his way into our hearts and our home quite quickly! A most excellent pup and a lovebug! He had his own special cut that he donned in the summers!
Jenny
Jenny also came to us from my parents.
Missy
Missy came to us from my parents.
We've also had a multitude of cats:
Bubba
One of the original famous "Stripe Brothers," Bubba was a clown who simply loved crackers and taking naps with the other babies!
BooBoo Kitty
One of the famous "Stripe Brothers," BooBoo Kitty and his bud, Ranger liked to take naps together!
HowlieB.
HowlieB. was a beautiful white Persian who loved to chase the light from flashlights. Hilarious! He was truly a love-bug that adored cuddling, lounging in your lap and being petted. He just loved it when you'd pick him up, toss him (gently) over your shoulder and pet him... for hours on end.
BearBear
BearBear was another darling cat but truly a psycho at heart! He could be so sweet but would do the most demented things like pee on the stove... repetitively (ugh). Now THAT is just a horrid smell (ick) let me tell you. He would let you pick him up and pet him but as soon as you got too comfortable that he was actually gonna let you hold & pet him, he'd wheel around and smack you hard & fast! All the same, we loved him dearly and miss him terribly.
Precious (Mussus or Mussie-Pussie)
KiKi
You can see her just barely peeking out at the race cars! She was ready to pounce for sure!
Kiki (a.k.a. Kiki-Loki, KiKi-Liki-Loki-Poki, Pumpkin-Cat, Pumpkin-Kitten) came from our garden! You can see her (just barely) in the middle-left of both photos. She was pretty determined that she was gonna get those little cars zooming around the track!
Lady
Lady (Lady-Bug) was a beautiful black baby that would make this "snorgeley" sound when she'd clean herself. She was the momma cat for a long time (although not by blood)!
We even had a few long-term visitors!
Hobby
Hobby (Hobby-Lobby, Hob-a-Lob-a-mous!)was one of my mom & dad's great cats that stayed with us for a while during their extended vacation travel around the country! He was a major love bug and hilarious too!
Talkie
Talkie (a.k.a. Talk-a-matic) was another one of my mom & dad's
great cats that stayed with us for a while during their extended
vacation travel around the country! He was a major-league talker and
also hilarious!
You can see some more pictures of our babies in this Flickr Pics!
